Whispered World - US and EU prices?

I recently got an email which advertised a %10 percent discount on the Whispered World.
Out of curiosity I checked both the US and the Europe Adventure Shop prices.

Before discount in the EU shop it's 40 euro while in the US shop it's $30.

Converting it into my country's currency reveals that the price in Euros is about twice as much the price in dollars.

Why is that?

The reason is simple.
We do not set the SRP, but the publisher or the developer does.

The European retail price is 39,99 €, while Viva Media will release the game in North America at $29,99.

The current exchange rate is increasing this difference.

We would be pleased to have unified prices, but retail in Europe is different from retail in North America. We are just a 3rd party between the producer and the end-user.

If the European retail price is 39.90 euro, how come I can buy it at a European site for only 22 euro, box etc. and shipping included?

I ma pretty sure that this price is from a UK website.
Could you please send me the link by PM where you can buy the game at 22€. I will show it to the publisher and ask for a price adjustement.
