Is Dragon's Den not widely known outside the UK?
AHA! Wikipedia tells me it is the UK version of Leijonan kita. It's pretty popular over here (at least ratings wise) and I assumed the UK version would be shown in other European Countries? My English arrogance simply will not let me believe otherwise! ![]() God bless you your majesty! |

Yeah, pretty much the same here.
(I did actually recognize that it was some sort of original version of the Finnish show, but then I've never watched the Finnish one either. It just ran a few ads at some point some time ago) |

I never used to think of myself as a royalist but a couple of events made me realise that I am.
1. ![]() If I had been there I would have run Mrs Obama through with a pike before I'd even thought about it. 2. A few years ago Prince William took an RAF helicopter just to pick up his girlfriend (now wife) to try and impress her at a heavy cost to the taxpayer. The press asked the question "Is this how we want our royalty to behave?" Immediately I knew that this is exactly the sort of thing I think our royalty should do. If we're going to have a monarchy then they should be doing ridiculous things at great expense to their subects just to impress girls or generally for the lulz - that is a real traditional British King in the making and there is great historical precedent for it. |

Maybe the Queens of Holland and Britain could organize it so that Willem-Alexander and William can be crowned on the same day. That would be so cool! Of course this means we have to get rid of Charles somehow... Hmmm I wonder...

Life is tough, Third. Deal with it.
That reminds me of a song by André Hazes: Little Boy. Translation by Google: little boy You're in this world so you will have to fight like me I should know Life is not easy There is adversity at any time little boy There are many good people But unfortunately there are bad 'tis true You have to think about: That you will soon realize This fair will last longer trust me chorus: This life will pass There has been little time so happy, because you're free But do it wisely make the people happy Then you'll really be happy Because life is so short Many things are different when you get older You are still in boxes but not for long It is unfortunate but it does not remain small little boy At school you will notice that everything revolves around numbers and power That's life So learn what you need to learn Because then you're not the last who laughs little boy then when you grow up then maybe your father is no longer tell your own children the lessons of how your old man |
