Mom, I was the one who broke the living room window way back, there were no burglers trying to break in. Sorry about calling the police and getting the neighborhood riled up. and Uhmmm my brother really broke his nose, cause I dared him to jump off the roof. Whew thats better.

I played Phantasmagoria, while totally drunk, hitting the skull cheat button every 2 minutes and laughing my ass off. Beat the game in 2 hours. Had so much fun, but maybe the game really sucked.

ninth, carcading is the traditional Maltese way of celebrating political victories, and is a hell of a lot mroe fun than it sounds. Basically 50% of the island (which is a LOT of cars) go out to the major parts of the island (Valletta, Sliema, etc) and drive (either at snails pace, or stay stock still because of traffic jams due to there being so many cars out) while waving flags, hooting horns practically non stop, screaming, using those very loud hooter thingies that almost bust your ears etc. Some cars will have been made up for the day, ie painted in the flag's colours and modded and stuff (lots will be really cheap second hand cars bought only for that purpose). The rules for that day don't exist, you pretty much can't get booked for any violations, it's a free for all. People jump in and out of cars and special buses all the time to speak to others and generally you keep picking up and dropping off friends as you go along the way.

Oh yeah, I've seen this, from afar (being part of a group of old people wanting to see historical buildings). It didn't look TOO crazy, though

. Even if i was told some people gambled their car over the results...

That's pretty much what the football hooligans do here after a match. Well, that and smashing every window in sight.

yes, but that was 1996 not 2003. This time, with the EU issue hanging on the elections since the other side said they would ignore the referendum, it was very tense and people let go a lot once their minds were at rest.
