I think so too. When I was traveling in Northern India and South East Asia, it was always refreshing to see how peaceful and tolerant Buddhists are.

I've seen a footage of a bunch of Buddhist monks in what seemed like an Asterix-type brawl once... they didn't seem all that peaceful to me.

If I did, it was when I was very very young. My parents used to take me traveling with them when I was just a baby. The only parts of Malaysia I've been to recently (by that I mean about 10 years ago) was in Borneo.
