I'm guessing those Caffeine tablets are to keep you awake while you play all those games?!

I really enjoy horror-based games, so I was planning on buying this for a while. Finally got around to it.

And I made a significent purchase from AFMO, sun hat, insect repellent, headlamo, etc. etc., but that's neither here nor there.

Just bought a DELL XPS system with an 8800 GTX graphics card, 2 Gigs of Ram, 250 Gigs hard drive and a Pentium Dual Core CPU. I know it is crazy but I really prefer strategy games on the PC and there are tons of them that I haven't played yet. The only current gen system I don't own right now is the WII
Nintendo needs to start manufacturing more of that impossible to find console.

While I can't remember everything I've bought this year, here are the ones that spring to mind ...

PC

Jade Empire: Special Edition (LOVE this game so much. Completed 3 times!)
Quake 4 (It seems a bit ... meh)
Dreamfall Collectors Edition (I already own the game, but had to get the collectors edition for keepsake.)

Playstation 2

Final Fantasy XII (I want to say I love this game, but ... the battles ... I just don't feel as 'in control' as I have been with previous itinerations.
Devil May Cry 3 (This is great fun, and really harkens back to the love I had for the original DMC)
(I hope to buy Okami, Shadow of the Colossus, God of War 1 and 2, Kingdom Hearts 2 and MGS 3 at some point ... still sooooooo many good PS2 games I wanna play)

Xbox

GTA San Andreas (Saw it cheap, didn't have it...figured I'd add to collection).

Wii

Red Steel (FPS really has potential on Wii, that's blatant to see. This game doesn't strike all those chords it needs to, but really shows that when the time is right, it will be difficult to go back to other formats ... )

WarioWare Smooth Moves (While I loved this games wackiness, I actually prefered (dare I say it?) Rayman Raving Rabbids. Wario is great on Wii, and some of the multiplayer modes are fun. THis is an essential purchase, to really show what fun you can have with this system.)

Cooking Mama (Good for pick and play value. I mostly bought this for my sister ((who has cerebral palsy)). This game is fun, and the multiplayer is good for a giggle.)
Excite Truck (God, this is hard!! It's one of those games, that if you master, you really get into, but if you fall behind, it really does leave you vexed and frustrated).

Sonic and the Secret Rings (THis is one of the best Sonic games since the original "Adventure" that was released on Dreamcast. I love how SEGA is showing love to Nintendo over other formats. The geek in me can't help but feel excited about the Mario/Sonic cross-over title at the end of the year!!)

Godfather: Blackhand Edition (Man, I really enjoy this. The graphics are blotchy, true. But this has a good story, and it's fun to flail your hands about in order to punch someone, or to shove your hands forward to push them off a wall. ((God, I sound demented. O.o)) The aiming with the gun is good fun too. This takes a port, and makes the experience, something different and unique to the format. Early reports say, that this has been emulated, only with better results, in the Resident Evil 4 Wiimake!)

((Just ordered Mario Strikers))

Got it on bargain for 50% on gamedujour's one day sale.

Fun little game. I'm so addicted to it, it's nearly 5AM and I'm still playing.

Flight Simulator X

Yes, the standard version, not the deluxe one.

I'm not quite sure why. It was only £10, though, and it's been a while since I bored myself for five minutes with one of these.

Mario Party 8!!

Can't wait to surprise my niece and nephews with this, they'll freak!! Now I just need to buy one more controller combo, so they can do at least 3-player.
