Ah yes, how well I remember that version of Tomb Raider... where Lara was blonde instead of brunette... and wore a blue skirt and bikini top instead of her signature shorty-shorts and top... and she wielded a sword instead of two pistols... and the game was side-scrolling instead of 3D...
Or did I just dream it?  |

Yes, it was when they were trying to port it onto the Sega Master System. Sure, they had to sacrifice a few things, but I think they really captured the feel.
