Perhaps the game D3 should've been? Warning - if you get motion sick, don't eat before watching this video!
Things I like - 1) It doesn't look much like D3, much more varied. 2) Brilliant design work on the levels. 3) Puzzles! In three dimensions! Wierd! 4) It's freaky. 5) D3 engine does massive environments. 6) Loads of things to do with warping about! Things I don't - 1) I'll need to upgrade. 2) I feel sick. 3) Humans look good in a Cyan way. Hm. 4) Er... there's no monkeys in it. http://pc.ign.com/articles/620/620259p1.html AG'ers should like this quote - Quote:

Yeah, I saw the video during E3 at the shack.
It looks quite interesting, but I was already very much interested in this game even before I saw the video. It looks and feels very different when compared to Doom3, but the corridors do look a bit like D3, due to the darkness. But the darkness was one of D3's best parts, so... ![]()

I saw a live demo of it in E3, in Realtime (not like Killzone 2's real time), and it looked pretty nice. There are some disturbing parts in it, like really young girls getting possessed, but I agree it's a little different than DOOM 3. The portals are really cool. You can literally stand on one side of a portal and look through it into the rest of the level without a hiccup or any loading time. Also there is no notion of loading when you die. You become a spirit, you fight the ghosts till you reach back into your body. The only thing that I didn't like (which Kolzig liked
) is how dark the game is. Yes the spaceship has bigger rooms, but it is still all black. I want to see colors with the DOOM 3 engine.

It looks beautiful in its art direction and level design. I'm looking forward to this one.
