The success of Crazy Frog's remix of Harold Faltermeyer's 'Axel F', the theme to '80s action comedy 'Beverly Hills Cop', has been nothing short of phenomenal. In the UK the novelty record is outselling the rest of the singles chart twice over, and has sold three times as many copies as Coldplay. An estimated 200,000 singles a week being sold.
Let me ask the Brits this,

what in the hell is the matter with you?

If anyone is curious follow the link and move cursor over blue frog to hear the most annoying sound around.

Then image this to the theme to Beverly Hills Cop

I'm an intelligent Brit, I only buy GOOD music. Only chavs and small children actually bought or... god forbid... liked that crap.
Although... on the subject of crappy european music, i was in the music video for some fat guy from spain... i'm in the background being stupid.

And let us not forget, "Schnappi, the Little Crocodile". It started as a childrens song on a very good TV show (please note, that it only appeared once, like most things. There are three recurring things: The little cartoon stories with the Mouse, the Elephant, and the Duck [It is "Die Sendung mit der Maus" - "The Show with the Mouse", after all], the educational part with Armin and Chrisoph [Who are not the moderators. And actually they are both a bit older than you commonly see on children's TV. And that's a good thing, because I can't imagine "The Mouse" without them. But I think they thought up the whole concept. Don't quote me on that.] which always comes divided in sections between the other things, and Captain Bluebear who tells his lie-stories to his three grandchildren [and this one always comes at the end]. The other things are different every show. Sometimes stories, sometimes songs. Sometimes musical stories.).

Then the Internet came along, and *POOF*, people that usually point at toys and cartoons are dancing to a children's song.

Her new album is supposedly actually good. Haven't heard it myself and I don't have any Mariah Carey-loving friends I could borrow it from so I guess I'll never know for sure. I can live with that.

Yeah, SUPPOSEDLY. That's why it gets in the charts. SUPPOSEDLY, the Crazy Frog is the best thing in the world since Final Fantasy 7, personally i dont see why its so great except the possibilty of watching its stupid annoying idiot brains thrown across the floor of a room.

I know, I played a game on the web this morning at school in between thinking complaints about the schools crappy web safety system (when I SENT a complaint, I was removed from lesson and was called a badass starting an email trend)... anyway, it involved hitting the stupid amphibian with a baseball bat... bloody good fun.

I stand corrected. THIS is the funniest thing I've read this week.

Seriously, Schnappi is nowhere in the same league of annoyance as the Crazy Frog. It was actually an enjoyable song and the rage has already died over here anyway (Belgium). However they are still throwing new Crazy Frog stuff at us every day.

Man, I really wonder who buys all those cd's, ringtones, books, games, posters, watches, earrings and socks. The only Crazy Frog thing I'd buy is toilet paper. And I speak for everyone I know.
