Dark Fall 2 Help

Whilst I enjoy difficulty in an adventure game I am driven crazy when i cannot move on for some crazy reason. I have started this game 4 times and even followed a walkthrough (boo!) but I still cannot get on the boat. Do I quit and start Aura or Syberia 2 or is this game worth the hassle????

Hi, PATASP! I just started playing Lights Out a few days ago too...

Do you still need help getting onto the boat in Trewarthan? No doubt you've already talked to Demarion... What did he say you needed to do first, back in your room? You (i.e. Benjamin) have to get everything you need... There's one "unusual" item you need to find and take with you before you can board the boat.

(Say, what does your walkthrough tell you to do? I'm not sure if I can be more helpful unless I know what you've already tried...

)

Thanks for replying.

I have visited all places and looked at everything from all angles. Is there an object that I have to find by pixel hunting?
I have stated the game several times to see if I have missed something but still can't get on the boat!

Have just finished Black Mirror, and have played Myst 1,2,3, GK 1,2,3. Broken Swords, Syberia1, Lighthouse, Atlantis 1,2,3. Comer, Crystal Key, Monkey Islands, Schizm 1, Phantasmagoria, Black Dalia, Under a Killing Moon Series, Blackstone Chronicles, All the Zorks,Rent a Hero, Jack Orlando and many many more! Still can't get on the boat though!
