Default Igor: Objective Uikokahonia

Introduction. Igor: objective Uikokahonia is the first game made by Pendulo studios, the creators of Runaway, released back then in 1994. Though the game is not as good as the later pendulo products, it is certainly worth playing.
Plot. Igor is a man in college, who likes a chick named Laura. Sadly, she doesn't even notice, and, moreover, she is going to a biology trip to Uikokahonia with her present boyfriend. I think it does not need further explanation that Igor has to stop them and go the biology trip. The plot of the game is incredibly funny, and filled with comedy situations.
Spoiler:
For example, when Igor has to get the dean drunk in order to fire his secretary via intercom to get his papers errr.... Sorted.

Graphics. The graphics of the game are really nice, and very reminiscent of early lucas games like FoA.The animations are smooth and funny. Pendulo did a great job on them
Puzzles. The good thing about puzzles is that they are really original and logical. The difficulty is near high, so get your brains working, guys. The bad thing is that there are at least half a dozen pixel hunts in the game - you have to notice a 6 pixel slug in the dranpipe, for example. But overall, the puzzles are really enjoyable and satisfact immensely when solved.
Sound. Mybe the weakest part of the game. It is not bad, but it certainly isn't up to the other components of the game. there are few midis, and run-off-the-mill Sound effects. I haven't heard the voice acting, for I downloaded the game.
Conclusion. Igor: Objective Uikokahonia is a really enjoyable title which every adventurer should play. Maybe it will bring back memories of your own lives - who knows?

Rank:
Plot: 8/10
Puzzles: 7/10
Graphics: 8.5/10
Sound: 5/10

Overall: 7/10

I would have given a much lower score just because of that ludicrous maze...

Hell, guys, what do you want in adventure games? Signs to lead the way? Just draw a map dammit. It would be lot easier and fun.

Its good to know all of Pednulo Studios games made it out of Spain...
I'm pretty sure it did not have voice acting, but I can't tell beacuse my copy refuses to work with my sound card...
I don't know why you complain about a silly maze, unless its filled with multicolored ghosts that are after you for eating their pills, you will eventually find the exit....
