Default A Few Pointers : Gobliiins 4

I have just finished this game...
If you wondered why the name of this game holds 3 I's my guess is that each one of them represent the three goblins you are going to play with...
As you launch this game you are faced with a tutorial right from the beginning...You see the opening menu and next to it our three goblins waiting to introduce themselves to you by name and telling you what are their capabilties and what can you expect them to do...
If you linger a little bit they are starting to make all kinds of nonsense stuff to amuse themslves...
If something funny happens to one of them while he carries out your orders the two others starts laughing loudly for a few seconds...And you can't do anything with them until they finished laughing...
As the game starts you control only one of the Golblins ,a private detective....He is the brain...with him you can talk with other creatures, read all kinds of messagges and he alone holds the inventory...You can't manipulate inside his inventory...
A messenger from the king gives you a note..The king needs your help to find his beloved pet who decided that fetching for the king is boring and escaped to experience new exciting adventures....Yout mission is to find him and get him back unless you give the king a proof that he is happier in his new life...
The game devides into levels or chapters..Each one of them is only one room or one scene...You can't save at all...If you manage to beat the level you are in ,you receive a code of 10 letters which you must guard with your life if you want to continue after leaving the game...If you quit without solving the whole level you must restart it unless you have the code for this level....
After beating the first level your second goblin join you...This Goblin is the Viking Goblin...Equipped with an helmet with two hornes this guy will use brutal force on anything or anyone...He wiil smack, break, push, pull, lift and carry anything heavy...
On the third level will join you the third Goblin...The Wizard...This bald, bearded Goblin will use his wand on anything or anyone...Mostly he will be able to lift all kinds of objects and creatures into mid-air for a few seconds enough for his other two friend to accomplish something useful...
Once you have the three goblins working together they will co-operate and most important will co-ordinate thier abilities to achieve your ultimate victory...
Each time you will beat a level they will start doing all kinds of acrobatic maneuvers like soccer players after scoring a goal...And the message victory will appear on the screen...
However there is a bonus victory...On the first 13 levels there is a hidden golden tooth you must dicover and take with you...Managing to do so will give you a bonus at the end of the game...If you managed to get all of them you are welcomed to post here what exactly is the bonus since I havn't succeeded in doing that...
The puzzles are always fun and creative...Each level is completely different and you are never bored or facing the same kind of brain activity...You must be very keen, alert and attentive to anything they do and what is the outcome on screen...Many times you will find yourself scratching your head how the hell are you going to get out of this mess...
Sometimes only when positioning them in a specific place will make them do what you expect them to do so don't assume that if they are not willing to do anything on an object this is their last word....
Sometimes you will need to co-ordinate two goblins working on different objects to acheive what you are meant to do...
Each scene is packed with action and there is always something new to discover...
The game uses slapstick comedy...There are lots of smacking & wild laughters...
When the Goblins speak they speak Jibberish...You will not hear one single word in English here...They make all kinds of funny voices as if they are saying something meanigful...Luckily the translator understood that language to give us helpful subtitiles...

Useful Tip : Sometimes when it seems like you finished the level and still can't get out through the exit it means you left an item there and you must pick it up before leaving...

My final verdict : Once you start playing you are glued to your chair...Intense,Charming,Addictive and Stimulating...

WOW

I'm glad you liked it, i read some pretty terrible reviews on it. I've actually placed an order and its been shipped so I should have it any day now. I searched for old review threads to see what else you'd written because i enjoyed the latest review you did; and i found gobliiiins 4 yay!!

Can i let you in on some Goblins history??

Goblins 1 was called just this: "Goblins"
then there was "Gobliins" which signified it was part 2 since it had 2 i's in it. Thus the reasoning behind having 4 i's in the title of the latest edition (not 3 like you suggested). Just thought that might solve that little mystery for you.

Thanks for the review im now looking forward to it, i'll try to do it with finding the golden teeth!!

You are wrong about the history. The first game was Gobliiins. The i's because of three playable goblins. Gobliins 2 had only two main characters… The new game is Gobliiins 4.

It's more for the fans of the original games, I guess.
Spoiler:
The goblins end up on the working place of their creator, Pierre Gilhodes, who is asleep. They refer to him as God, play with computer and other oversized things on the table and at the end Pierre might open them the meaning of life

It's fun, but not actually differes from other levels in style of gameplay. I strongly recommend you to play the first 3 games, they were even better.

Ok i remembered it wrong.. obviously been a long time since i played those. I just looked it up on wiki and some of the memories came back: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gobliiins

The place where i bought Gobliiins 4 had it listed with 4 x i's thats why i thought it had 4 of them. Obviously wrong again.
