Default Theresia for DS

I can't seem to find any info about this game anywhere on this site even when I did a search. If there is info and I'm just missing it sorry in advance and let me know where I should be looking.

I was just wondering if anyone has played this yet and what their opinion was of it? I also have only seen screenshots in Japanese so I wanted to make sure that the game available now is the English release and not a Japanese version?

Thanks for any info you can give me!!

I've been trying to find decent information about this game as well, and just haven't been able to. I've seen some footage of the Japanese version, and I can't tell if it's even a game. It looks like an interactive novel - an actual one, I mean, not the kind like Hotel Dusk that's really an adventure but doesn't want to call itself that.

There's some info about it on the gamefaqs Theresia board:

http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/gento...p?board=944894

It's billed as a point-and-click adventure/survival horror, but I think the "survival horror" part just means that you have a life-bar and touching certain objects while exploring the house will decrease it (no actual monsters).

I'm also interested in this game and have been wondering if it's really an adventure or not. I do think the version available now is an English release.

Ok, after reading more at the gamefaqs forum that xiguo linked to above, it sounds interesting. According to commenters over there the game has two modes, investigation and traveling that you switch between. People are comparing it to Hotel Dusk and Time Hollow, which are two of my favorite DS games. There are no monsters but there are traps that injure you if you're not careful. You have a health bar for those and health replenishing potions.

I'd like to see a full review, but I'm leaning towards picking this up at some point.

For anyone who may be watching this thread, I have started a thread to offer my perspective on the game.
