I like the song 20,000 Seconds because it was a special song I shared with a BF I was very, very in love with at the time... They are so great I can't really think of individual songs that I like. I really like most of them off one of their early disks (The Great Subconscious Club). The Ballad of Almost Happy disc but I can't think of the names. That wasn't released in the US for the longest time and I had my boyfriend pick up a copy for me when he was on a layover in London. Ugh, now I wish I had a K's Choice CD to listen to...

Hehe, I do still go, just not twice a year. I went last summer and for the first time ever they said my teeth were in perfect condition. Thing is I'm kind of between insurances, I can't get a dentist here and I don't have insurance in Holland anymore so it's a bit of a waste of money.

Actually, it baffles me every time how overpaid my dentist is. Get this. He has widescreen dvd players in every waiting room, he has them posted around the hallways and ON THE CEILING of the practice rooms... The man is running out of ideas, seriously.

They seem to have gone their separate ways a while ago, and I had given up hope of ever seeing them live, so imagine my surprise when last summer I stroll through my hometown of Alkmaar and come across a poster advertising their imminent arrival . They didn't have the entire band, Gert wasn't there, but Sarah was and the bass-player and the drummer... It was awesome.

I agree all of their songs are beautiful, Believe was the first one that grabbed me, but I like all of them really. Thanks for the link to that radio thing. Cool stuff... I wonder if they ever have any of the non-album songs.

Well now I'm back home in my very own house and can listen to them all I want.

I am going to order that new CD (10?) next time I make an Amazon order. I just wish they'd tour here again... I saw them once opening for Verve Pipe (having never heard of them before) and again a year later by themselves... and I don't think they've been back to the US since.

It's somewhat softer in style than K's Choice, but some of it's pretty good and apparently she's releasing a new album soon as well. The concert I went to was officially "Sarah Bettens and band" anyway, and they played both her new stuff and old Choice songs so chances are if she does any tours in the US it'll be a similar deal, basically K's Choice minus one. You might want to keep an eye on that website. It'll be interesting to see how her new album turns out in any case.
