Which book did you read, specifically? There are a lot of compilations on the shelves. I've been thinking of picking up "Bloodcurdling Tales of Terror."

Mountains Of Madness (apparently Headfirst planned to make a game based on that..... SIGH!!), The Case Of C.D. Ward and The Whisperer In The Darkness for me. Liked them all. It's kind of interesting to read some of the rare dialogues that occur in his stories... you immediately can tell that he was the anti-social kinda guy, and kept contact even to his dearest friends mostly by writing letters to them.

It's called "The Selected Stories of H.P. Lovecraft". I can really recommend it although it's the only book by Lovecraft that I've read.

I thought it was ok. It started really well, but became tedious with all the repeating shooting and stealth bits. I never bothered finishing it and sold it on ebay. I think the game would have been 10 times better with a proper save system.
