Karmillo: I say idiots because replacing your clone after like a year of playing really should be second nature to any player, generally speaking the only people who seem to forget are the kind of people who just buy craploads of virtual money from ebay and "pwn nubs" while never actually learning the intricacies of the game.

Like ot or not, the harsh ways of EVE make it better for some of us, a game isn't a game until you have something you can actually lose. Most mmo's lack focus because you can't lose anything even when your character dies, ergo you end up surrounded by a load of kids constantly dueling in cities/stations.

Sometimes people forget, they might have just recently died and something caused getting a new clone to slip their mind.

well find the original Eve or not and make a clone or not i've discovered PIRATES OF THE BURNING SEAS which is going to be like Sid Miers Pirates BUT in MMO form. This is another one that im willing to try out to see if i can ever ever ever play an MMO again without hating them. I LOVED Sid Miers pirates from AMIGA500 to CD32 to PC's recent version last year (?) and its one of the original games alongside THE secret of monkey island and BARDS TALE taht i grew up on as a kid.

Since this looks so similar to the orginal but with real players as well as NPC's to battle and fight it look promosing and seems similar to what i used to WISH for when i was a kid playing orginal pirates. I used to wish that my friends could play with me.
