Default Hmm... Far Cry - The movie?

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/thr...ideo_games.jsp

So, the crap director Uwe Boll (House of the dead) has got his hands on Far Cry's movie rights, and this is the most bizarre thing, he's going to make it *a horror movie*

First he makes a dumb movie about house of the dead, then he makes a propable crap movie about Alone In the Dark's weakest part, the fourth one...

Next he's going for Bloodrayne in 2005

So this is what we'll get in 2006, Far Cry - The horror movie...

Well, I suppose I'd rather have that than Farcry: The Musical.

Why do people hate musicals? What can be more fun than police-officers somersaulting into the scene from behind lantern posts, bursting out in energetic, frenzied singing and dancing?

Good God, Uwe Boll is going to turn out to be the Ed Wood of shitty videogame adaptations.

Hmm, so apparently it's going to have elements of "The Island of Dr Moreau", because it's set in a jungle and that. The good thing is that it can hardly be worse than the actual "Island of Dr Moreau" movie... can it?!

I only really replied to give a thumbs up to Flux's signature. I wonder how many people who know the quote from a certain song know it comes from King Lear?! I think I knew but I'd forgotten, so hooray. And that.

Hehe, I like how Uwe Boll picks games with weak/mediocre plots to make movies out of. I also like how he's making AITD into an action movie and Far Cry into a horror movie. Where the hell does he get all the cash from? It can't possibly be profitable.

Maybe Uwe Boll is just some alias for guys like Bill Gates.

Then the money would not be a problem.
