Boy, reading through this thread is like watching an Ingmar Bergmann film, which often depresses me and puts me in a pensive mood. Basically, people have been killing each other in a variety of horrible ways and have each other's life screwed up (morbidly obese!). I wonder if someone will be creative enough to screw up a wish in a positive way?

An alien spaceship crashes into my backyard, enabling me to try to take over the world, and succeed. Fuel will be taxes extremely heavily, measures against hazardous waste and power consumption become far more stringent. Expect major changes to many other aspects of life.

I wish for a telescope on the moon.

OOOeeeOOOeee... Adventure games are suddenly thriving again. All the greats of the past start writing new games and LucasArts ditches its current output and returns to work of yesteryear. Unfortunately every country in the world simultaneously passes a law forbidding you (Squinky) to buy, borrow, download or play AGs on other people's computers on pain of death.

I wish I wasn't an insomniac.
